Half and Half

This journal is somewhat friends only. It's primarily for my sanity, so I know who's reading the personal stuff, but anything fandom related, fics, recs, etc., will remain unlocked, with a few exceptions. Anything I've written and any recs that I link to will have ratings and warnings posted if warranted, so please be responsible and don't click if you're underage.

Fandoms

I love Harry Potter. This journal will contain much squeeing over Harry Potter (you know, fair warning and all that.) I sometimes sneak out of the HP playground for anything Whedonverse (Buffy, Angel, Firefly/Serenity) and occasionally Supernatural and Doctor Who (although I usually avoid online stuff about current television shows because I'm always behind and don't want to be spoiled.) I love love love Red Dwarf (uh, one love clearly wasn't enough) and Shaun of the Dead. Simon Pegg is my hero.

I'm also a secret Trekker. I was in love with Data all throughout high school and I own all 7 seasons of DS9 on dvd. I know. It's hot.

So far I've only written in the Harry Potter fandom, mostly Harry/Hermione with some Trio, Harry/Ron, Harry/Draco, Hermione/Draco and Gen sprinkled here and there. Slowly but surely I'm branching out, and often love to get prompts and pairings from my flist to stretch my comfort zone. My OTPs are Harry/Draco and Harry/Hermione, and my OT3s are Harry/Ron/Hermione and Harry/Hermione/Draco (sensing a pattern here?) I also adore Luna but I haven't attempted to write her yet. I love to read Luna/anyone, but especially Harry/Luna, Draco/Luna, and I'm warming to the idea of Snape/Luna. I do love Snape, especially Snape gen and Snape as a father figure to Harry fics.

As far as friending goes, as of right now, I usually always friend back, especially if we've traded a few comments and it's obvious you don't have a sock-puppet journal. If you have friended me and wondered why I haven't friended you back, it's probably just because I have no idea who you are--drop a comment here if you'd like. :) If I've defriended you, it's probably because we've grown apart, don't share similar interests anymore or I just don't have time to keep up with your journal. But please give a shout out if you want to chat again! I'm generally a pretty nice girl.

If I've friended you out of nowhere, it's probably for the fic/art/recs/meta. I try not to lurk, but sometimes my shyness takes over. I promise I'm not a stalker though!
