It's primarily for my sanity, so I know who's reading the personal stuff.

As far as friending goes, as of right now, I usually always friend back, especially if we've traded a few comments and it's obvious you don't have a sock-puppet journal. If you have friended me and wondered why I haven't friended you back, it's probably just because I have no idea who you are--drop a comment, if you'd like. :) If you feel the need to de-friend, please go ahead! I don't take these things personally (and it's always de-friending amnesty day on my journal).

If I've de-friended you, it's probably because we've grown apart, don't share similar interests anymore or I just don't have time to keep up with your journal. But please give a shout out if you want to chat again! I'm generally a pretty nice girl.

If I've friended you out of nowhere, it's probably for the fic/art/recs/meta. I try not to lurk, but sometimes my shyness takes over. I promise I'm not a stalker though!
